  Owner is Unprofessional and Immature

  “The facility looked very nice. But I do not recommend. I had booked a date with them and put down the deposit. They booked me for the wrong date. Fortunately when I realized that they had the wrong date for me, no one else had booked the date I originally booked, so I was able to get the date back. I then had to cancel the wedding due to health problems. I submitted my cancellation in written, certified mail. I also called to make sure everything was clear and I would receive my deposit back as the contract said, a week after the booked date as long as someone else booked that day. When it was a about a week before the date I called to make sure someone booked the date and I would receive my deposit back in full. I called and they said they had already sent out a check to me, when the date was booked again. They sent the check to the wrong address. My address had changed and I put my new address in the cancellation letter and also told them of it when I called. They then told me I would have to pay a fee for them to send out another check and to void the previous check. I explained to the owner that it was their mistake and I shouldn't be charged. She then hung-up on me. I am now again planning a wedding and would have considered them if everything had went smoothly, but I would never book with them. The owner is crazy, unprofessional, and irrational. ”

  The Best Day of My Life!

  “Our wedding day was perfect in every way. The Fez is a hidden jewel in Pitsbugh for wedding receptions. The food is great; the price is fabulous; the staff is awesome. From the beginning throughout all of our planning, Debbie the event coordinator was kind and professional. Steve and Judy the managers on site during our event went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed all night long. I loved the staircase entrance which introduced us to the applause of our friends and family -- a memory that I'll never forget. Our DJ Chuck Webb was the BEST! He kept the dance floor full (including my husband and I) all night long. My highest recomendations.”

  “Mother's Day 2008 flowers were delivered when no one was home. FYI, it's not good for cut flowers to sit outside during a hot day! Ordered through 1800flowers.com. Maybe Something Special thought no one would notice since it wasn't ordered directly from them. Since several flowers were dead within 2 days, someone DID notice. Waiting for them to make it right!”
